Justin Bieber meets his hero, 16-year-old Aussie `bully basher` Casey Heynes

Justin Bieber has told how he was bullied at school and declared himself a fan of Aussie 'bully basher' and fellow internet sensation Casey Heynes, even welcoming the 16-year-old on stage at his Melbourne concert.
Justin was even filmed talking to Casey backstage at the Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne before he invited him to introduce his song Never Say Never in front of 13,000 ecstatic fans on Monday night.
Back in March, Casey was filmed giving a bully a 'slam dunk' at his school as the bully continually hit and tormented him, egged on by his friends.
The clip of Casey's fightback was put online and has now been seen by millions worldwide, earning him a legion of fans.
Justin said he was inspired by Casey's story and paid for his fellow teen, dad Richard and sister Tiana to fly from their home in western Sydney to meet him in Melbourne, an event filmed by Aussie TV show, A Current Affair.
Justin told the TV show he was bullied at school because he was good at sports.
He said: 'It happened a lot for me.
'I always played sports and stuff and a lot of the times I'd be really good at something, so everyone wouldn't like me because I was good at it.
'They'd make fun of me and call me a show-off and stuff, but I liked playing sports and I was good at it.'

Justin Bieber - Justin Bieber Brings Hero Schoolboy Onstage

Justin Bieber continued with his crusade to prevent bullying during his show on Monday (02May11) by bringing onstage a teenager who has become an online hero for refusing to be picked on by his peers.
Casey Hynes, from Sydney, Australia, became famous earlier this year (11) after a video emerged showing the 16 year old standing up to another student during a verbal and physical attack.
He made headlines around the world, and Bieber invited the schoolboy to join him at his show in Melbourne on Monday, and invited Hynes onstage to introduce his aspirational song Never Say Never.
Bieber told the audience, "Everybody give it up for this kid. I just wanted to say that he's very inspirational. He shows other people to stand up for what they believe in."
Taking to his Twitter page after the gig, the Baby hitmaker told his followers, "A kid who stood up for himself against bullying. A real life hero. We tracked down Casey and his family and flew him to the show. Thank you Casey."
Last year (10), Bieber recorded a public service announcement (Psa) for the It Gets Better project in a bid to prevent bullying, following a spate of young suicide victims in America.

Canadian pop star Justin Bieber has revealed he was determined to meet schoolyard bully victim Casey Heynes after seeing the viral video of his ordeal.

Casey gained worldwide fame after a mobile phone video published online showed him body-slamming his tormentor.
Bieber told A Current Affair tonight: "When I first saw it on TMZ I thought, this is crazy, like I couldn't believe it, it's amazing.
"It shows everybody else that you have to stand up for yourself and you can't just take it.
"The first thing you should do is go tell someone, but then you might have to hit back, sometimes you have to so I think that was important for you, especially in that situation.
"I'm proud of you — and so many other people are."
Bieber, in the middle of his Australian tour, invited the 16-year-old Sydney schoolboy along to his concert last night at Melbourne's Rod Laver Arena.
Prior to the show, Bieber asked Casey how he was feeling when he was being attacked in the school yard, before telling him he too had been the victim of bullying.
Bieber said: "I always played sports and stuff and a lot of the times I would be really good at something — so everybody didn't like me because I was good at it, so they would make fun of me."
The singer then invited Casey on stage, telling the screaming audience he wanted to touch on the serious subject of bullying, before adding: "I just want to say that he's very inspirational.
"He shows other people to stand up for what they believe in."
Ahead of the tour Bieber had sought out Woman's Day editor Fiona Connolly in the hope she could put him in touch with Casey.
"This is highly unusual. You just don't see celebrities giving this kind of treatment to a regular kind of fan any day," she told A Current Affair.
Bieber, hours after meeting Casey, described the schoolboy as a "hero" to more than 9 million Twitter followers.
"This is Casey the punisher... a kid who stood up for himself against bullying. a real life hero," he tweeted, posting a link to a news article about the Year 10 pupil.
He followed up with a second tweet containing a link to the infamous body slam video: "for those of you who don't know...you should watch this…"
