Justin Bieber Earns Bragging Rights, Raises $10K at Charity Basketball Game.

2011 MTV Video Music Awards
Justin Bieber earned some major bragging rights at Ludacris' charity basketball game in Atlanta yesterday. Team Bieber made an amazing comeback to get the win over the rapper's team, and raised $10,000 for the Ludacris Foundation while doing it.

The Bieb had been trash-talking his pal Luda over Twitter days before hitting the courts, and he definitely didn't waste any time getting back online to announce the victory. He wrote: "we were down and then made a crazy comeback and even my man tried to win it at the end and couldnt take "

And, the next eight or so tweets from the 17-year-old star were also about basketball -- though the star also made sure to acknowledge that the game was really about raising money for charity. "Felt great winning 2day. felt even better knowing we did it 4 . thanks 2 all the fans who came out 2 support. ," he wrote.

Biebs added: "we made a lot of money for today at the game. thanks to everyone who supported and to for living as an example to others."

Then, it was back to bragging. But apparently the Bieb is quite the b-ball pro.
He dominated in February's Celebrity All-Star Game. The singer was named MVP of the tournament and even the announcer applauded Biebs for "looking like Steve Nash" when he made a sweet cross-over assist.

Even NBA star Chris Paul couldn't believe the teen heartthrob had it in him this time around. Paul tweeted yesterday: "Nah but 4real BIG S/O to for hoopin in the game 2day...didn't kno he could hoop like that AND he can handle the rock! "

The star seems to practice a fair amount even it's not a high-profile gig. He recently posted a Twitvid of himself shooting hoops, with his gal Selena Gomez there cheering him on.

Selena Gomez--Pixie Lott Dying to Meet Her!

Selena Gomez ~Selena Gomez is an icon to so many of her fans, but there's a singer-songwriter who is dying to meet her as well. English singing sensation Pixie Lott would love to meet Selena, and here's why.
According to a report from Just Jared, Pixie Lott is a singer, songwriter, dancer and actress. She has even substituted as a judge on The X Factor. One of her greatest highlights, however, was when Selena decided to record one of her songs.
It seems that Selena's hit song We Own the Night was actually written by Pixie Lott, along with Toby Gad. Selena is even using the song's title for the name of her current concert tour. She recently took We Own the Night to Dallas, Texas, near her own home town of Grand Prairie. Pixie Lott is thrilled with the success Gomez has achieved with her song.
"She recorded one of my songs that I wrote with Toby Gad called 'We Own The Night' and I heard it and she sounds absolutely amazing on it. I was over the moon when she picked it for her album," Pixie says.
Still the 20-year-old British singer hasn't met her 19-year-old counterpart.
"I haven't met Selena yet, but I'd love too," she says.
Do you think a meeting between Selena Gomez and Pixie Lott will take place in the near future? How do you think each of these young women might influence the other's music? Would Justin Bieber approve of Selena developing a friendship with Pixie? She did have a lot to say about his friendships with fellow musicians like Kanye West and Sean Kingston.
Just the physical differences obvious in photos of Pixie Lott and Selena Gomez are enough to make you realize there are likely some huge personality differences between the two. Selena--despite her new grown-up and often sexy image, often portrays an almost demure persona when photographed and plays it very clean both on stage and when meeting with fans. Pixie, on the other hand, is a bit more "rough-and-tumble," with far less concern over persona or image.
Still, stranger friendships have evolved, and both Selena Gomez and Pixie Lott are professionals, and could likely stand to learn quite a bit from each other. It will be very interesting to see if such a meeting is in the cards and when it might take place.

U Smile Singer Justin Bieber Left Shaken After Potential Brush With "Death"

Justin Bieber left Shaken after his potential brush with death
The U Smile singer, Justin Bieber, certainly wasn’t flashing his pearly whites after he crashed his snazzy Ferrari car last week.
The teeny popstar was left extremely shaken after he smacked his $100,000 plus sports motor into a passing vehicle.
The 17-year old was taking his disgustingly expensive ride for a spin, lapping up the gorgeous sights and sunshine of Los Angeles, when he accidently collided with a Honda.
But don’t worry, the budding mini singer and the elite Italian auto had a very lucky escape. Neither had so much as a bruise, bump or scratch to show for their latest adventure – ahh sigh of relief…
Apparently the nerve-racking collision was only a gentle bump, and no insurance details were exchanged. Despite the low damage to both ‘models’, a member of Justin’s 24hr team thought it wise to notify the LA police.
An official spokesperson for the Los Angeles police department said: “No one was injured and there was no damage to either vehicle.”
This is not the first time the YouTube star was caught out on his driving skills.
Just a few weeks previously, Justin (who we now understand has a massive love affair for fast, show-off cars), was behind the wheel of  Sean Kinston‘s prized Rolls Royce, when he was embarrassingly pulled over by Miami police.
But instead of singer being a pulled off the road due to a minor collision or the fact he was speeding like a rockstar – it was his baby face that aroused suspicion from the officials.
According to US sources, the police had found it very unusual to see a person looking so young in control of such a status symbol car and were shocked when they discovered his real age.
I bet that knocked a few notches out of the global stars ego…

Justin Bieber showed off his athletic prowess by winning the rapper's annual basketball game by two points.
The 17-year-old pop star captained Team Bieber while the rapper led Team Luda at the annual LudaDay Celebrity Basketball Game in Atlanta, Georgia.
Bieber proved he was a force to be reckoned with on the courts.  He raised $10,000 for charity by winning with a final score of 134, to Ludacris' 132.
The singer took to his Twitter page after emerging victorious, writing, "We made a lot of money for charity today at the game. Thanks to everyone who supported and to Ludacris for living as an example to others.
"Felt great winning today. Felt even better knowing we did it for charity. Thanks to all the fans who came out to support."
