"Selena Gomez is a bona fide star. Her films and TV show are seen around the world and her songs are topping the charts," Shelia Sullivan, executive producer of the MMVAs, said Monday.
Gomez is the second act to added to the awards show. It was announced that Lady Gaga will appear on the program for the second time.
There is no word if Selena's current boyfriend, Canadian pop star Justin Bieber, will be in attendance. I'm betting there a slim chance that he won't.
