Cash Money Signs Pop Group 'Savvy 'To Reach ‘Justin Bieber Crowd’

Savvy Cash Money
Just when you thought that Birdman and his Cash Money clique couldn’t get any stronger, they have expanded their musical reach with what they’ve dubbed the next big group in pop music. The YMCMB main man has decided to capture the “Justin Bieber” audience with the next artistic endeavor, complete with Shaylen Carroll, GiGi LeMaire, Drew Reinartz, Alan Shaw and Andrew Stern.
Birdman wasn’t kidding when he said he wasn’t counting his net worth until getting to a billion. The Cash Money mogul has decided to set forth on being able to touch every genre of music, and have an artist on each radio station/channel.
In a recent press release, Slim and Vernon Brown of the CM label shared their excitement of having the pop newcomers added to their lineup.
“We started with rap; now we want to expand into different genres,” said Cash Money’s Slim, who was joined at the press conference by the label’s attorney Vernon Brown. “Savvy is a special group. They work hard; we work hard. We saw their energy and felt their passion. With [the addition of] artists like Jay Sean, Kevin Rudolph and now Savvy, we’re ready to make Cash Money into a world company.”
Expect to see their premiere performance today at 4 PM ET/PT, on the Starz Kids & Family channel. Check out their song, “Dance With Me Now” below to see what you think.
