Rumor has it that the surprise celebrity guest Dolce & Gabbana has planned for the festivities at its Madison Avenue boutique tonight will in fact be Justin Bieber.
Though the buzz couldn’t be confirmed at press time, an appearance by the high top-favoring teen idol would make sense. The brand had already announced that the event would benefit Pencils of Promise, a nonprofit founded by Adam Braun, brother to Bieber’s manager, Scott “Scooter” Braun. Bieber has served as a spokesman for the school-building chairty.
The singer is, of course, no stranger to the in-store appearance. He drew a large, lively and occasionally raucous crowd of teenage fans and onlookers to Macy’s Herald Square in June for the launch of his fragrance, Someday.
For the more chaperone-aged of those sure to wind up in the crowd tonight, Dolce & Gabbanna will be showing reels of passionate moments in Italian cinema including cuts from “Divorce Italian Style,” “Mamma Roma,” “Senso” and “The Leopard.”
