Although he's not on a concert stage or making a red carpet appearance, he seems to be having a great time so far, and he's even managed to be his own shutterbug. Bieber recently posted to Twitter the first photo of his Canadian getaway.
It looks like Bieber just can't stand to be out of the spotlight, even on his family retreat to see grandma and grandpa! But his fans unquestionably love the constant buzz and being able to snag voyeuristic glimpses into the pop sensation's life. And the pic the Biebs just shared is definitely a cool one.
It's an artistic, black-and-white shot of Justin Bieber exploring what seems to be a bit of Canadian wilderness. Along with the photo, he also posted on Twitter a simple and sweet explanation, "climbing mountains." There's no sign of his grandparents, but someone had to play photographer and snap the pic, so he definitely wasn't roaming alone in the mountains.
Too bad Selena Gomez couldn't be there scaling the cliffs with Justin Bieber. Work is apparently coming before leisure for the Disney starlet, as she's reportedly busy touring in Colorado over the Labor Day weekend.
No matter, the couple did get to spend some quality time together at last Sunday's MTV Video Music Awards, where Gomez interviewed her boyfriend on the pre-show black carpet. Although it was an altogether awkward encounter, especially with Bieber's strange ensemble that he accessorized with a live snake, they still seemed to be pretty crazy about each other. (Hopefully she didn't mind not being acknowledged in Justin Bieber's acceptance speech for the Best Male Video that night!)
Perhaps both Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber will plan their own romantic wilderness trip together soon.
