Is pop singer Justin Bieber about to add ‘tech start-up’ investor to his long line of titles?
Rumors are that the young 17 year old is following in the footsteps of actor and venture capitalist Ashton Kutcher and may be looking to invest in tech start-up. Business Insider came out with the information and while there is nothing that has been released publicly, but Alyson Shontell did say that she did hear about a stealth New York startup. While they are not at liberty to announce which startup just yet with other high profiled celebrity backers on board. Shontell also made reference to Bieber — an Ontatio, Canada, native — playing a pick-up basketball game with Canadian Steve Nash (of the NBA’s Phoenix Suns) and investor Michael Duda. Nash and Duda are co-founders of Consigliere, a marketing firm and investment fund that funded the New York start-ups Birchbox, StellaService, and Chloe & Isabel.
While the ‘Baby’ singer has made no comment on the rumors. Justin also had a little game with Steve Nash recently when he crossed over the professional basketball player during a charity game. What startup would you like to see Justin back?
