Justin Bieber has met many of his life's aspirations already at the tender at age of 17. He's a singing sensation and he dates the very sweet and incredibly beautiful Selena Gomez. One thing he does aspire to, however, and may not be able to fully achieve is to simply be a "normal kid."
According to International Business Times, despite all of the success the Biebs has achieved in the past couple of years, normalcy may in fact always evade him. It's not like he can simply go to the movies or stroll through the mall like most 17-year-olds. When that happens he is bombarded by excited fans.
It seems that recently a fan asked Justin Bieber if he ever wishes he could go back in time and just be a normal kid for one day. His reply almost had a bittersweet tone to it.
"Yeah," he said. "For more than one day. I love my life, but yeah."
Yes, Justin Bieber has got it made in so many ways. And no, he's undoubtedly not even touched upon the height of his success. And for these reasons alone, people tend to forget that underneath the adorable face and trendy haircut, and aside from the love songs he so expertly sings--there's a 17-year-old boy who is in fact missing out on some very important facets of his life.
Fortunately Justin seems very grounded. He has very close relationships with his family members. He is a devout Christian. Even his girlfriend Selena Gomez is a Christian. There are some firm stabilities that help steady the life that could so easily become caught up in his whirlwind of success.
But that simply wouldn't be Justin Bieber. You see, he remembers what it's like to be poor. It really doesn't seem like he takes his newfound wealth for granted. In fact, he often donates hefty chunks of it to very worthy causes.
So deep down inside what the fans see and what the companies that own his name bank on, is the full-fledged persona of a normal kid. And even though Justin Bieber may not always be able to exercise the rights that normal kid should still enjoy, the fact that he exists way down deep inside is what makes him the kind of person he is.
And one day, that will count for far more than any number of record sales!
